Software Developer
We are hiring for an analytical, results-driven Software Developer who will work with team members to develop new software and improve current backend applications and processes. The Software Developer will use their understanding of programming languages and tools to analyze current codes and industry developments, formulate more efficient processes, solve problems, and create a more seamless experience for users. Still Up Marketing is looking for a talented developer to join our close knit team.
To succeed as a Software Developer, you should be focused on building a better, more efficient program and creating a better end-user experience. You should have a keen eye for detail and have a passion for creating customer facing software.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Database creation, integration, and management
- Write clean code to develop functional web applications
- Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate UI elements with server side logic
- Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.
- Recording data and reporting it to proper parties, such as clients or leadership.
- Liaise with developers, designers and system administrators to identify new features
Required:
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and/or related experience in a similar field
- Fluency or understanding of software & backend programming languages, such as Java, PHP, Javascript or .NET, and operating systems may be required.
- Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools.
- Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement
- Excellent project and time management skills
- Strong problem solving and verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently or with a group
- Proven work experience in backend/database development
- Experience in using AWS services
- Experience with MVC and MVVM design patterns
- Experience with SQL (MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL)
- Experience with API integration and development
- Working knowledge of CMS framework
- Experience with Node.JS, NPM/Yarn
- Experience in managing repositories and projects through GIT/SVN
- Eligible to work in Canada

Account Manager
We are hiring for an Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers, develop new business from existing clients, and actively seek new sales opportunities. Account Managers liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs. Manage and develop client accounts to initiate and maintain favorable relationship with clients.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with clients
- Help customers through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share and in person meetings
- Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
- Responsible for working with the customers, sales team and marketing team
- Prepare project plans, develop and track timelines/milestones and reports on account status
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
- Keep up-to-date with digital marketing trends
Requirements:

Junior Developer/Marketer (Student)
Still Up Marketing would love to help students develop their technical skills and knowledge in software programming/web development and digital marketing by working with students over the Winter term. We are hiring for an enthusiastic and innovative Junior Developer/Marketer (Student) to join our growing development team. The position will involve working with our team of digital marketers and web designers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating/maintaining websites built by Still Up Marketing
- Assist in creating and building email marketing campaigns and landing pages.
- Work with our team to develop tools or software programs for the company
- Be able to write well-designed, testable, and efficient codes with great documentation.
- Involve in research and writing contents for email campaigns, company blog, website, social media channels and other various initiatives.
- Contribute ideas and suggestions to continuously improve our products and processes
- Performing other related duties as assigned
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Post-Secondary student in Canada
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Excellent project and time management skills
- A creative thinker who can develop ideas and be innovative.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g. HTML, JavaScript and CSS)
- Basic knowledge in WordPress and graphic design tools is a plus
- Detail oriented with an ability to process information with a high level of accuracy
